Donn L. Marrin, Senior Associate, is a biochemist who is investigating the use of biogenic gases to monitor the natural biodegradation of water pollutants, environmental applications of the molecular-scale structures and dynamics of water, and mechanisms by which water mediates geochemical and biochemical processes. Dr. Marrin conducts applied research on projects involving the mobility and biodegradation of soil and water pollutants. He has presented university courses on the following topics: Assessing the Mobility of Chemicals in the Vadose Zone, Interpreting Biogenic Gas Data for Natural Attenuation, Assessment & Remediation of Chemicals in the Environment, and Vapor-Phase Dynamics of VOCs and Biogenic Gases.Ph.D., Water Resources, University of Arizona (1984)M.S., Environmental Science, University of California at Berkeley (1980)B.S., Biological Sciences, University of California at Irvine (1977) |
