Don Smith has been in the recruiting business for over 28 years. He is recognized as one of the leading agribusiness Recruiters in the US. Don is a member of the prestigious Pinnacle Society that honors the top 75 recruiters in the country. Don learned the recruiting business at Christopher and Long- Kansas City and then established Smith, Brown & Jones in 1986.
Smith recruits talent for companies throughout the world. He works positions ranging from CEO's, CFO's, attorney's, environmental specialists, plant managers, department managers, engineers, as well as operations and financial managers. Don is considered an expert in the Soya, Grain Milling, and Grain Storing fields.
Prior to the recruiting business, Don was an Intelligence Officer in the Air Force, Manager for Quaker Oats, and VP of Operations for Lauhoff GRain Co. Don built ADM's Soya Processing Plant in KC and ran their Dry Corn Milling Division in Kansas City.
Smith is Treasurer of the Overland Park Masonic Lodge 436, Treasurer of Midwest Christian Counseling, President of the Antique and Classic Car Club of Abdullah Shrine in Overland Park, a Scottish Rites and Knights Templar Member. He is a graduate of the University of Missouri, a member of Alpha Gamma Sigma and a proud season ticket holder of Mizzou Tiger Football! |
