Don is a member of the Equity/Investment Banking Group, concentrating on both entity-level corporate finance opportunities and property-level acquisition and refinancing requirements. His background in commercial real estate began with TCW Realty Advisors. During his tenure at TCW, Don developed a broad range of expertise encompassing all aspects of acquisitions, asset management, dispositions and portfolio-level evaluation and analysis. Prior to joining Johnson Capital, Don was a vice president/equity analyst for the Wall Street investment banking firm, Gerard Klauer Mattison, where he was responsible for producing institutional investment research covering the financial services industry with specific emphasis on REITs and REOCs. Don’s research covered a broad spectrum within the publicly traded real estate industry, offering perspective on macro industry-level issues as well as on the individual company level. Don attended the University of California, Los Angeles, where he earned a B.A. in economics and an M.B.A. in finance. |
