Don Farmer has 28 years of banking experience, with over 23 years of commercial and agricultural lending experience. He has worked in community banks most of his banking tenure, but worked for Huntington National Bank for 5 years to give him knowledge of how larger banks do things. He has worked with a large number of commercial businesses, from a small retail store to a larger regional manufacturing business. He has worked with all types of agricultural entities including cash crop and various livestock farms. Don was a lender up in the Fremont and Muskegon area for 18 years before moving to the Three Rivers area. Don is a graduate of Central Michigan University and also has attended many banking classes and schools over the years. He is involved with the St. Joseph County Food and Ag Council and will be getting involved with other community projects.
