Much of Mr. Ries' work has involved representing clients in the acquisition, financing, development, and disposition of real estate located throughout the United States, including improved and unimproved land, planned communities, residential subdivisions, apartment buildings, office buildings, shopping centers, hotels, industrial properties, mobile home and recreational vehicle parks, hospitals, nursing homes, residential care facilities, and various other commercial real estate projects. In addition, Mr. Ries has extensive experience representing clients in the origination, enforcement, purchase, sale, and securitization of real property-secured loans, in the formation, restructuring, merger, and dissolution of corporations, joint ventures, general and limited partnerships, limited liability companies, and other entities, and in the licensing and regulation of various types of financial institutions, finance lenders, other lenders, and real estate brokers.
