One of the Firm’s founders and a leader in the Nevada business community, Mr. Carano maintains an Of Counsel relationship with the Firm. Formerly a specialist in gaming and real estate development matters, Mr. Carano left the active practice of law to build and operate some of Nevada’s premier gaming hotel casinos and one of California’s best known wineries.
Today, Mr. Carano assists the firm’s partners on complicated real estate and political matters on an as-needed basis. His primary business operations are the Eldorado Hotel Casino in Reno, the Eldorado Casino Resort in Shreveport, the Silver Legacy Resort Casino in Reno, and the Tamarack Junction Casino in Reno. Mr. Carano’s winery sells its wines in 50 states, 31 countries and to the world’s major cruise lines under the Ferrari-Carano label. |
