Donald E. Conover is executive vice president and responsible for State Street's global space, security and facilities operations and president of State Street Bank Realty, LLC. He is also co-chair of State Street's globalization initiative.
Mr. Conover joined State Street in 1998 to launch and manage The Tuckerman Group, a Global Alliance company. As chairman and chief executive officer, he grew this start-up real estate investment firm to $US1.2 billion under management. In 2002, Mr. Conover joined State Street's Strategy Development Office to design and launch the strategic sourcing initiative which realized an expense savings of more than $US30 million in the first year of operation. In late 2002, he was appointed head of the Program Management Office responsible for the management and administration of the integration of the Deutsche Bank GSS acquisition.
Prior to joining State Street, Mr. Conover was the chairman and chief executive officer of Greystone Realty Corporation, an investment firm which he founded and grew to $US2.3 billion under management. He also was a founding member of the real estate advisory boards of the Columbia University Graduate School of Business, The Nature Conservancy and the Trust for Public Land.
Mr. Conover holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor of Science degree from Boston University.
