Since joining MCG in August 2003, Mr. Orr has helped raise more than $1.5 billion of private capital.Prior to MCG, Mr. Orr had roughly 18 years of investment banking experience. Mr. Orr started his investment banking career with Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette (DLJ) in 1985. His investment banking assignments included mergers & acquisitions, restructurings, high-yield and public equity offerings. While in the Investment Banking Group, he worked on one of DLJ’s first private fund placements, a $75 million transaction for Whitman, Heffernan & Rhein Workout Fund I. In 1993, Mr. Orr joined DLJ’s Equity Capital Markets Group as a Senior Vice President where he focused exclusively on public equity offerings. He was promoted to Managing Director in 1994. Following DLJ’s merger with Credit Suisse First Boston in 2000, Mr. Orr moved to the Equity Capital Markets Group at UBS as a senior Managing Director focused on Industrial, Media, Power & Energy public offerings. During his tenure in capital markets, Mr. Orr was responsible for more than 100 lead managed offerings raising more than $15.0 billion.Mr. Orr graduated magna cum laude from Boston College in 1980 with a B.S. in Accounting and from Boston College Law School in 1983. Donal worked with Arthur Andersen for two years prior to joining DLJ. He is a member of the New York State Bar. Donal currently lives in Briarcliff Manor, NY with his wife and four children. |
