Don Rothman's practice has centered on three areas for the past 30 years: acting as receiver/trustee in significant state court and bankruptcy cases, representing chapter 11 debtors in bankruptcy courts across the country, and effecting informal reorganizations and workouts representing debtors. Mr. Rothman's clients have spanned a wide range of industries, although he brings particular expertise to the areas of plastics, the food and dairy industry and real estate reorganization. Mr. Rothman is a member of the Commercial Law and Bankruptcy Section of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, the Receivers Forum, the Financial Lawyers' Conference and the American Bar Association, Business Law Section. Mr. Rothman earned his B.A. degree from Coe College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He received his J.D. from the University of Southern California, where he was winner of the Moot Court Competition and a member of the Phi Alpha Delta Fraternity. |
