Mr. Malmo received his undergraduate degree in 1950 from Washington & Lee University with a B.S. in Commerce. He later attended Vanderbilt University’s School of Law and received his L.L.B. in 1958. Mr. Malmo is a member of the Order of Coif, an honorary scholastic society, the purpose of which is to encourage excellence in legal education by fostering a spirit of careful study. Mr. Malmo proudly served his country in the United States Navy as a Lieutenant assigned to the U.S.S. Lindenwald LSD-6 in the Atlantic Fleet. Mr. Malmo then began his legal career with Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz in 1958. During this period, Mr. Malmo became a Partner and remained with the firm until 2000. In 2000 Mr. Malmo joined Duncan-Williams, Inc. as General Counsel in addition to serving as its Chairman of the Board. Mr. Malmo is a member of the Memphis & Shelby County Bar Association and the Tennessee Bar Association. |
