Domenico Dispenza born in Trieste on April 22nd, 1946. He was graduated in Aeronautical Sciences at Politecnico di Milano, subsequently obtained the Master’s Degree in Advanced Technologies. He joined SNAM in the R & D Department. In 1977 he was in charge for the System Analysts Group. He was appointed in 1980 as Chief Negotiator for Gas Sales and Purchase Agreement then, in 1991, he became Director Gas Supplies reporting, first to the Managing Director then, in 1996, to the Chairman. On 30th June, 1999 he was appointed Managing Director of Snam and, following the incorporation of Snam in ENI Group, he was named Deputy General Director of the Gas & Power Division. He was appointed Chairman and CEO of Snam Rete Gas by Shareholders’ Meeting on 27th April, 2004. Other positions currently held: Member of the Board of ITALGAS S.p.A., Member of the Board of UNI.
