Dipankar Bhattacharjee is corporate vice president and president-Asia Pacific Region responsible for the commercial operations of all Bausch & Lomb businesses located there. He was named to this post in 2007.
Mr. Bhattacharjee joined Bausch & Lomb in 1993 as national sales manager for Bausch & Lomb India. In 1995 he was named general manager for Bausch & Lomb Turkey then commercial director for Bausch & Lomb's Europe Middle East and Africa (EMEA) Distributor Operations (Vision Care) in 1998 followed by becoming director - sales development for EMEA Vision Care in 1999.
In 2000 Mr. Bhattacharjee was appointed vice president - commercial operations for EMEA Distributor Operations with responsibility for the Vision Care and Surgical businesses. He also held management responsibility for subsidiary operations in the Nordic region Belgium the Netherlands Italy Turkey Greece and South Africa. In 2006 he was named vice president - commercial operations Asia Pacific.
Prior to joining the company he held sales and management positions with Nestle and Bank of America. |
