Dina Palozzi joined BMO Financial Group in July 2001 as Executive Vice-President, Client Relations, BMO Nesbitt Burns. In this role, Ms. Palozzi is responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring the application of best practices in handling the complaints, the resolution of disputes and the management of client relations for BMO Nesbitt Burns as well as BMO Financial Group’s Investment Banking Group and Private Client Group on a North American basis.
She is also Senior Vice-President and Chief Privacy Officer for BMO Financial Group. As CPO, Dina’s responsibilities include the obligation to ensure compliance with legislative requirements. More specifically, working to ensure that the business strategy incorporates our commitment to the protection of privacy and personal information.
Ms. Palozzi has spent 30 years in the Ontario public service. Prior to joining BMO, Dina was Chief Executive Officer and Superintendent, Financial Services, for the Financial Services Commission of Ontario where she had taken a leadership role in working with other provinces to harmonize standards across the financial services sector.
She has also served as Deputy Minister of Revenue and Financial Institutions, implementing policies affecting auto insurance, securities and property taxes and was instrumental in leading the initiative to provide the OSC with rule-making authority.
Ms. Palozzi has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto and a Master of Business Administration from York University. |
