Dieter Kastenhuber serves and vice president and general manager for the Unisys Communications business in Continental Europe. In this role, Dieter and his leadership team are working to open up new markets in the focus areas of systems integration and consulting together with the expansion of the company’s established messaging business. He is capitalizing on Unisys excellent customer base in the European telecommunications market, which includes France Telecom, Orange, KPN, BT and Telefonica.
Dieter came to Unisys in April 2003 from Cap Gemini Ernst & Young (CGEY) as a lead partner for communications in Germany, Austria and Continental Europe. In his position as managing director for telecommunications, media & network earlier on at CGEY, he was responsible both for system integration as well as for business consulting in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Eastern Europe. Prior to this, he was a member of corporate management at Gemini Consulting, which also belonged to the CGEY Group.
