Diego J. Rojas is a member of the firm’s Personal Injury Practice Group, concentrating his practice in civil litigation, criminal defense and traffic matters. With a core competency for handling intricate cases, Mr. Rojas effectively guides his clients through the complex legal process with reliable communication and meticulous explanation of each step in the case.
In 2008, Mr. Rojas was appointed to the Maryland State Bar Association Leadership Academy, an exclusive 12-month program designed to assist lawyers to become better leaders while offering opportunities for future leadership roles in the MSBA. He was among 15 Fellows chosen from applications submitted to the organization. Mr. Rojas is the Secretary of the Maryland State Hispanic Bar Association and a member of its Communications and Website Committees. In addition, Mr. Rojas is a member of Montgomery County Bar Association, Prince George’s County Bar Association, the D.C. Bar, Virginia State Bar Association, Maryland Criminal Defense Attorneys Association and Maryland Trial Lawyers Association.
Mr. Rojas received his B.S. degree from the University of Maryland and his J.D. degree from The Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law. Prior to entering private practice, he served as a law clerk for the United States Environmental Protection Agency, as law clerk to a judge on the Circuit Court of Montgomery County, Maryland and as a Legal Research Attorney with the San Francisco Superior Court.
Mr. Rojas is an enthusiast of outdoors sports including cycling, fishing and skiing.
