Dick Preston is the anchor of KRCG News at Noon and the Co-Anchor of KRCG News at Sunrise.
A native of the St. Louis area, Dick graduated from University of Missouri School of Journalism.
He began working at KRCG in the programming department, then became an anchor/writer. Most of his years at KRCG were spent as the 10 pm anchor.
Dick enjoys listening to and playing music and has a large collection of LPs and CDs. He's also an avid fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and Rams and enjoys following the MU Tigers football and basketball teams.
He has been active as a volunteer in scouting; he is also an area DARE speaker. Dick has also been active with his church, serving as an elder and on its outreach committee. Dick is also a board member of the ecumenical Missouri School of Religion/Center for Rural Ministry.
He also owns and operates Dick Preston Productions, a video production company.
Dick and his wife Nancy live in Jefferson City and have a grown daughter and a son in college. |
