Dick Fanucchi is responsible for Product Design and Manufacturing at Lucix. Prior to Lucix, Dick spent 34 years with Hughes Space and Communications Company where he was responsible for the design and manufacture of RF & digital payloads for numerous government and commercial satellite programs. During his time at Hughes, he has held both technical and managerial positions including Principal Scientist, Chief Scientist, Department Manager, Operation Manager, and Division Manager. Dick holds five patents and has received the Hughes Sector Patent Award. Other awards include several Hughes Aircraft Company Technical Excellence Awards, and a Pioneer Award for the development of the first microwave link for cable TV (AML). Dick believes that Product Design and Manufacturing are integral disciplines, and holds to the philosophies of quality by design, and design for manufacturability. |
