Diane Teer joined ConAgra Foods as president, Culinary Products, in October 2005. In her current role as president of ConAgra Foods’ Consumer Foods Frozen business, she is charged with developing and executing innovation and marketing strategies to strengthen such popular brands as Healthy Choice, Marie Callender’s, Banquet and Kid Cuisine. By building on consumer insights, Teer and her team are working to build the company’s consumer and foodservice frozen food brands and achieve sustainable, profitable growth.
Recent innovation and marketing successes include the development and launch of Healthy Choice Café Steamers and Healthy Choice Panini. While both lines reflect out-of-the-box thinking, Café Steamers, in particular, have established new standards of freshness and taste in the frozen foods aisle.
Before joining ConAgra Foods, Teer was with Campbell Soup Company, where she held several senior positions, including: vice president, North American Soup Innovation; president, New Growth Division & Marketing Services; and vice president/general manager, Beverage Division. She also held positions of increasing responsibility with Procter & Gamble, the Nabob Coffee Company, and Kraft Canada.
Teer earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Western Ontario and has a master's degree in business administration from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario.
