Diane Goodman, Program Consultant Diane Goodman, Program Consultant, has a B.S. degree in Education, and is certified in Early Childhood, Elementary and ESOL (for non-English speakers) education. Working with children has always been a central focus in her life, serving as camp director at Tot Town, teen programs at Cutlers Camp and Our Kids Day Camp, and conducting in-service behavior management training. A certified teacher for 23 years, in both regular and special education, Diane is currently a Head Start Program director for 66 school-based sites. Diane works with "at risk" families and children, assisting with family education, social and emotional management, food, shelter and financial resource guidance. Diane is also President of the Tamarac Bulldogs, active with Special Olympics, PTO/PTA secretary and adviser, T.E.A.M.S. (Teachers Enhancing and Masters Skills) program leader, a club mother for a "girls club" for disabled young girls, and a consultant for a United Cerebral Palsy preschool. Diane brings to camp her enthusiasm for creating a positive and nurturing environment for children, her compassion, energy, knowledge, and patience. |
