She became MultiCare’s first woman and first nurse CEO in 1999. She has played a pivotal role in many organizational initiatives focused on providing the highest quality of care to patients throughout MultiCare. Diane previously worked for Sutter Health System in Sacramento, California, and UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles. In 1993 she retired as a Lieutenant Colonel from the Air Force Reserve, having served 21 years as a flight nurse in aeromedical evacuation. Diane earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from University of California, Los Angeles, and a Master of Science degree in Human Resource Management from the University of Utah. She is currently serving in her second term as Chair of the Governing Board of the Washington State Hospital Association. |
