Diane Knicky combines opinion and market research experience with strong communication skills to bring a comprehensive package of research services to clients. Ms. Knicky assists clients to determine their current and desired positions with their markets or constituents, and then assists in developing programs to achieve their goals. She coordinates scheduling and facilities for focus group discussions, coordinates pricing and scheduling with vendors for telephone research, and coordinates with clients and mail house vendors for mail surveys.
In addition, Ms. Knicky manages events, both large and small for our clients. For example, she coordinates every detail for the annual Bank of the West Celebrates America free concert in Memorial Park in Omaha, Neb., which attracts over 50,000 people.
Among the industries for which Ms. Knicky has completed research projects are health care, secondary and higher education, utilities and the environment. Her research activities have included:
For a manufacturer, she measured attitudes and tested statements to build a foundation for public relations planning.
For a consortium of natural resource organizations she completed interviews with stakeholders to determine interests in river corridor issues.
For a large school district she conducted research to measure awareness and support of a proposed ballot issue.
For a university she conducted national research among alumni to learn their opinions of the university's service to them and the value they placed on their education.
For a metropolitan school district she conducted a communication audit among the district's key internal and external audiences to determine perceptions of current communication efforts and measure effectiveness.
For a New York college she completed a survey of prospective students to evaluate awareness and perceptions of the college's adult education programs.
For a banking group she conducted a customer satisfaction study.
For a university she completed a market study to determine perceptions of education quality and tuition issues.
For clients she conducts secondary research to identify potential threats to and opportunities for their organizations.
For energy clients she plans and manages community and stakeholder meetings.
For a manufacturing company she coordinates national management symposium.
Ms. Knicky carefully analyzes and interprets findings, cross-tabulating responses that may provide additional insight to each study. She provides a set of conclusions and recommendations for future action as a component of each study she completes.
