Ms. Harris is President and founder of Hypotenuse Enterprises, Inc., a mergers and acquisitions advisory and consulting firm. She has more than 25 years of experience in the areas of corporate growth and development.
Prior to launching Hypotenuse Enterprises in 1996, she served for 12 years as Vice President of Corporate Development at Bausch & Lomb, Inc. Ms. Harris created and launched that company’s mergers and acquisitions program, implementing a billion dollar restructuring program that provided more than half of the company’s growth each year for more than a decade. Earlier in her career, she held positions in general management, marketing, strategic planning and research and development in Bausch & Lomb’s Soflens, Analytical Systems and Houston Instruments DAC-CAM Divisions.
Ms. Harris has been a Director of Flowserve Corporation and one of its predecessor companies since 1993. She is also a Director of The Monroe Fund. Ms. Harris is a member, Past President and a former Director of the Association for Corporate Growth. She is also a member of Financial Executives Institute, the National Association of Women Business Owners and the National Association of Corporate Directors.
Ms. Harris is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of The Catholic University of America and holds a Master of Science degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
