Ms. De Felice is a Shareholder in the Los Angeles office of Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck and a member of the Natural Resources, Land Use and Real Estate Groups. Ms. De Felice has over 15 years experience counseling on land use, environmental law and real estate, including matters involving the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), planning and zoning, Subdivision Map Act and private attorney general fee awards. Ms. De Felice represents both private clients and public agencies in all manner of due diligence and administrative processes and transactional matters. Her trial court representation has included both general civil litigation and writ of mandate proceedings. Her appellate practice includes representation before California Courts of Appeal and the California Supreme Court. Before passing the bar, Ms. De Felice spent over three years leasing and selling commercial real estate. Her ability to balance economics with legal issues lends a practical strategic approach to successfully negotiating the land use and environmental projects. In addition, Ms. De Felice’s work has included representation of public entities specifically involving compliance matters such as the Brown Act, advising public boards on governance issues, as well as on employment law. |
