Mr. Minihane joined Intermolecular in October 2006 and is responsible for overseeing all aspects of protecting the company’s IP. Most recently, he spent seven years with Altera Corp. as senior director for IP law and assistant general counsel. As head of Altera’s IP group, he was responsible for patent procurement, patent assertions and litigation, IP licensing and trademarks. Earlier in his career, Mr. Minihane gained significant litigation experience with the law firms of Fish & Neave, and Curtis Morris & Safford. He also served as co-chair of the Semiconductor Industry Association (SIA) IP Law Subcommittee, and is currently a member of the board of directors for the IPO Educational Foundation. He holds a B.S. degree in electrical engineering from Cornell University and a J.D. degree from the George Washington University National Law Center. Mr. Minihane is a member of the State Bars of Massachusetts, New York and California. |
