Derek is a Managing Director and Regional Finance & Accounting Practice Leader of the Xperianz Columbus Practice with concentration in the Columbus, Ohio marketplace. He is a former Big Four auditor with over ten years of diverse business experience. Derek s strong audit, accounting, and professional services background has contributed to his ability to successfully lead and oversee client initiatives. He has provided strategic assistance to a number of diverse organizations over the course of his executive career in professional services working with such clients as Cardinal Health, AGA Gas, Sterling Commerce, Cole National, Ohio Health, Time Warner, Intellirisk, Borden Chemical, and Inoveris. His occupational achievements come from his client-centric abilities to strategize process enhancements and operational improvements. After working at Ernst & Young in an audit role, Derek spent several years in accounting management positions in restaurant and dental services management companies where he led a financial analysis software implementation, completed multiple cost reduction initiatives, managed preparation of financial analyses and ad-hoc reports, and directed sales and payroll tax returns. Derek is a CPA and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with an Accounting major from Case Western Reserve University. |
