Mr. McNeil has over eleven years of public finance experience and since joining Siebert Brandford Shank in 2003, has participated in over $23 billion in municipal finance transactions. His responsibilities include providing primary and back-up banking and quantitative support to the firm’s Northeast and Midwest clientele. He also serves as the firm’s primary housing banker and is the primary banker responsible for covering the State of New Jersey. Since his arrival to the firm, SBS has served as a managing underwriter on twenty-one (21) transactions for issuers within the State of New Jersey for a total par amount exceeding $17.1 billion. Mr. McNeil also provides banking coverage to the firm’s District of Columbia clientele. Since joining Siebert Brandford Shank in early 2003, Mr. McNeil has served as the primary or support banker on over 90 negotiated municipal finance transactions for a total par amount in excess of $23.8 billion. Of these transactions, twenty-one (21) were senior managed for a total par amount in excess of $1.6 billion, nine (9) co-senior managed for a total par amount in excess of $4.7 billion, and sixty-three (63) co-managed for a total par amount in excess of $17.6 billion. Mr. McNeil’s investment banking knowledge encompasses a wide range of transaction types, including housing (multifamily, single family and student), transportation, airports, lease financings/certificates of participation, general obligation, tobacco securitizations, pension obligation bonds and refundings, to name a few.Before joining Siebert Brandford Shank, Mr. McNeil was employed at M.R. Beal & Co. within its municipal finance group, RBC Dain Rauscher’s housing finance group, and Merrill Lynch & Co. as a financial analyst in its International Project and Infrastructure Finance Group. He has a BA in Economics from Connecticut College and he is a registered representative with the NASD (Series 7 and 63). |
