Derek M. Larson brings more than 10 years of experience to his position as a Managing Director at KKR Financial LLC. Prior to joining our credit team, he worked in the Capital Markets Group at Wells Fargo Bank, handling derivatives, structured credits, and high-yield groups for one of the largest financial institutions in the U.S. While at Wells Fargo, he managed more than $1 billion of high yield securities on behalf of corporate treasuries, foundations, insurance companies, and a mutual fund. Before that, Derek worked at AOL Time Warner in their Corporate Strategy and Investments Group, and also worked for a B2B Software Solutions company called X2N and for UBS Securities/DLJ, and its financial institutions, investment banking group.
Derek holds a BS in Business Administration/Commerce from Washington & Lee University. |
