As vice president and chief human resources officer, Mr. O’Malley-Keyes is responsible for ensuring alignment of Dow Corning employee capabilities with customer needs to most effectively deliver strategic and innovative solutions. He is credited with refocusing the human resources function on to the company’s goals of being customer-centric, of being a technology leader, and of pursuing sustainable, environmentally sound technologies.
He has also acted as executive representative to strategic global customers, and as such has firsthand knowledge of the strategies and unmet needs that Dow Corning employees are challenged to address. In response, he has established a global employees’ capabilities management process that has helped to consolidate and integrate service management and resource management programs. The result is a more focused effort towards assisting customers with opportunities for innovation, growth and increased value.
Mr. O’Malley-Keyes joined Dow Corning in 2001. His career prior to Dow Corning includes a variety of engineering, manufacturing, and country/regional management positions, including corporate executive level global human resources management. He earned a bachelor of science in pharmacy from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy, and a master’s business administration degree in finance from Imperial College, University of London. |
