Derace Schaffer has served on the CareGuide Board of Directors since January 2006. Prior to its merger with CareGuide, Dr. Schaffer served as a Director of Patient Infosystems from its inception in February 1995 and also served as its Chairman from February 1995 through November 2004. Since 1980, Dr. Schaffer served as the President of the Ide Group, P.C., a group of physicians providing radiological and diagnostic imaging services at multiple locations in New York State and since 1990 he has also served as President of the Lan Group, a venture capital firm specializing in healthcare investments. Dr. Schaffer also serves as a Clinical Professor at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and a Director of NeuralTech, Inc., Analytica (formerly NeuralMed, Inc.), Preferred Oncology Networks of America, Inc., The Care Group, Inc., and Medifax, Inc. as well as several not-for-profit corporations. |
