A member of the firm’s Financial Services Practice, Dennis specializes in serving hedge funds and other alternative asset management clients. Dennis’ practice focus cuts across functional lines to include portfolio management, distribution, finance, administration, operations, technology, and compliance. He has provided valued consultation to companies at all stages of development. Leveraging his entrepreneurial spirit, diverse financial services industry experiences, and knowledge of talent demands, Dennis entered the search profession as founder of Grant Resources, Inc. His firm specialized in the recruitment of derivatives and capital markets professionals. His client roster included major financial services firms. Dennis’ thorough understanding of clients’ products and competitive environments is a by-product of his diverse career in the financial services industry. Most recently, Dennis was with Accumulus Capital Management, where he was responsible for the North American distribution of the Accumulus Fund of Funds. His career includes a distinguished track record with Morgan Stanley, where he was a principal and co-head of the interest rate swap trading desk in the Derivative Products Group. In this role, Dennis oversaw the firm’s customer and proprietary trading activities as well as the risk management of interest rate swap products. Earlier, his three years as an auditor and C.P.A. with Peat Marwick Mitchell and Company provided the experiences needed for Dennis to assume the role of controller of Morgan Guaranty Trust’s international banking facility. Dennis is a graduate of Villanova University. He currently serves on the financial advisory board of the Christian Brothers Foundation and on the Board of Trustees of the Newburgh Nativity School, a tuition-free school serving economically disadvantaged inner-city youth. |
