Former Chief of Cardiology and Medical Director of the Cardiac Treatment Center at Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla, California.
He is also a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of California, San Diego.
Attended medical school and graduated from the University of Cape Town in South Africa.
After immigrating to the United States, he completed his internal medicine residency and became Chief Medical Resident at Montifiore Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Goodman then went on to complete his cardiology fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas.
After moving to California, he began his private practice as an invasive cardiologist leading to his various appointments at Scripps Memorial.
