As Senior Vice President and Chief Product Office for the Dow Jones Enterprise Media Group, Dennis Cahill has overall product revenue and technology responsibility for Content Technology Solutions within the Enterprise Media Group including: Dow Jones Newswires, Dow Jones Licensing Services and the Factiva product suite. As a member of the Leadership Team, Mr. Cahill plays a key role in influencing the overall company strategy.
Previously, Mr. Cahill was Vice President, Product, for Factiva, before it was fully acquired by Dow Jones in December 2006, where he was instrumental in driving Factiva's leadership status and innovator position in the business news and information marketplace by developing products that put advanced technologies to work solving customers' strategic business issues. Prior to that appointment, Mr. Cahill held various roles managing software and infrastructure teams within Factiva.
Before joining Factiva, Mr. Cahill was a software lead for Image Processing Ground Stations at Westinghouse Electric Corporation. During this time, he managed the integration of the ETRAC image processing ground station for the U2 and was software lead for the ARPA DarkStar UAV image processing ground station.
Mr. Cahill is a frequent speaker at industry conferences including Delphi Conference, Buying and Selling Econtent, FASTForward and more. He holds a bachelor's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the State University of New York, Buffalo.
