Dennis J. Mondolino is a partner in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP based in the New York office. As a member of the Intellectual Property, Media & Technology Department, his practice focuses on patent and complex trade secret litigation. Dennis also serves as the head of the New York Intellectual Property, Media & Technology Litigation Group.
In his more than 25 years of experience, Dennis has participated in over 100 patent disputes and has tried more than two dozen patent-related cases as lead trial counsel. He has argued numerous cases before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, the Second Circuit and the Third Circuit.
As an accomplished trial lawyer, Dennis represents clients in a wide range of industries, including pharmaceutical, personal health care, specialty chemicals and engineering materials, industrial machinery and products, agribusiness, home and industrial building products and computer hardware.
Dennis has particular experience defending major pharmaceutical companies in complex patent and licensing disputes and most recently was responsible for the successful defense of a number of major drug patents for a multi-national pharmaceutical company.
Dennis is admitted to practice in New York. He is also registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and the U.S. Supreme Court. Dennis is a member of the American Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association, the New York Patent, Trademark and Copyright Law Association and the American Intellectual Property Law Association.
