Dennis D. Murrell is a director and co-chair for the Commercial Litigation Practice Group for Middleton Reutlinger. He practices in commercial litigation, including breaches of contracts, trade secret and employment restrictive covenants, trademark, employment discrimination and commercial fraud and fraudulent transfer.Mr. Murrell’s published decisions include the application of the Uniform Fraudelent Transfer Act to plasma derivitives, American National Red Cross v. ASD Specialty Healthcare, Inc.; clarification of the repair/reconstruction doctrine in patent law, Bottom Line Management v. Pan Man; and the enforcement of restrictive covenants by a corporate successor following an asset purchase Managed Health Care Assocs. v. Kethan. On behalf of corporate clients, he has appeared in courts in Kentucky, Indiana, Alabama, New Jersey and Florida. Mr. Murrell has presented papers and lectures on various issues, including the drafting and enforcement of restrictive covenants, the use of computer technology by counsel and Kentucky product’s liability law.
