Dennis joined Pierce Atwood in 1984 and became a partner in 1990. He is the chair of the firm’s Real Estate Practice Group. Dennis is involved in all aspects of commercial real estate law, with an emphasis on development and permitting, real estate financing, acquisitions, dispositions and leasing, including retail, building and ground leasing. His practice includes working with developers and assembling large sites for acquisition and development. In addition, Dennis acts as local counsel for large multi-state lending transactions. Dennis represents a major development company that owns and develops shopping centers and office buildings along the East Coast and a large regional supermarket that owns and leases facilities in the Northeast. Dennis also represents a franchisee of a national food franchise in all aspects of acquisition, leasing and financing. He has also represented developers of residential complexes and planned unit development and resort communities in all aspects of acquisition, permitting and financing. Dennis has represented large corporate and manufacturing facilities in acquiring additional plants and expanding existing facilities. Such representation includes assembling of multi-parcel tracts, street vacations, permitting approvals and financing. Prior to joining Pierce Atwood, Dennis was a commercial real estate attorney with the Denver law firm of Holme, Roberts & Owen. |
