Debra Alligood White is a partner in Milbank's Global Corporate Group, resident in the Washington, D.C. office. Ms. White's practice focuses on corporate finance and technology transactions. Ms. White has represented sponsors, lenders and equipment suppliers in wireless and fixed-line telephony and Internet infrastructure development projects in the United States and Latin America; worked with telecommunications network infrastructure and service providers structuring and negotiating managed network services outsourcing transactions; represented an electric delivery utility to structure and negotiate one of the first broadband-over-powerline utility services agreements; and worked with a number of corporations to negotiate information technology and business process outsourcing transactions. Ms. White has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, restructurings and financing transactions in the Internet, telecommunications, publishing and manufacturing industries.
Debra Alligood White earned her A.B. from Harvard University and her J.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law, where she was Chief Comment Editor of Volume 40 of the UCLA Law Review and a recipient of an Association of Academic Women "Graduate Woman of the Year" award.
