Deborah Z. Thompson is a Managing Director for both the In-House and Associate Practice Groups of the Philadelphia office of Major, Lindsey & Africa. Deborah brings eight years of legal recruiting experience with Assigned Counsel, a temporary attorney staffing firm, where she placed attorneys in short and long term positions with law firms, corporations and organizations in Philadelphia, its suburbs, South Jersey and Delaware.
Prior to her legal recruiting career, Deborah was an associate with three large Philadelphia firms: Blank Rome; Duane Morris; and Wolf, Block, Schorr and Solis-Cohen. Her practice focused on estate planning, estate and trust administration, and corporate law. Deborah earned her law degree from the Law School of the University of Pennsylvania and she graduated summa cum laude from Rutgers College with a B.A. in psychology. She is a member of the Philadelphia Bar Association.
A native of central New Jersey, Deborah now lives in the Philadelphia suburbs with her two children. She is an avid fitness enthusiast and enjoys weight training, yoga and tennis. She is also actively involved in volunteer work at her children's schools. |
