Professional Experience
Prior to joining Huron Debjit was a senior manager in the Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences Regulatory Practice at Ernst & Young. Prior to Ernst & Young Debjit was part of the Life Sciences Advisory Practice at KPMG LLP. Debjit has also held positions in managed care market research and brand marketing for two large pharmaceutical companies and has also worked for a large pharmacy benefits manager.
Debjit currently assists pharmaceutical medical device and biotechnology clients on a variety of matters including litigation support operational consulting determination of fair market value and government pricing.
Some of Debjit’s specific experiences are as follows:
Conducted risk assessments of sales and marketing activates both in the United States and internationally.
Worked under the direction of counsel to develop codes of conduct and policy and procedures manuals.
Assessed contracts between pharmaceutical companies and PBMs for contractual compliance and anti-kickback issues.
Facilitated the development of policies and procedures for the consulting programs for healthcare professionals.
Assisted in the development of policies and procedures for State Law Compliance.
Developed fair market value payment rates for healthcare professional fee-for-service payments under the direction of counsel.
Assisted in the development of fair market value payment rates for fee-for-service payments to wholesalers and distributors.
Assessed compliance with various statutory price submission requirements including AMP BP 340B Non-FAMP FCP and ASP.
Performed a compliance assessment of a pharmaceutical manufacturer’s Patient Assistance Program.
Assisted outside counsel on a company-wide assessment of sales force T&E practices.
