Dean Seavers is President of SimplexGrinnell, the centerpiece of Tyco’s Fire Protection Services group of businesses. SimplexGrinnell is a leading provider of fire detection and alarm, fire sprinkler, fire suppression, and integrated security systems and services. Prior to being named President of SimplexGrinnell in 2004, Dean was Senior Vice President for Tyco’s ADT business. He previously was Regional Vice President for ADT’s West Region. Before joining Tyco in 1999, Dean held key operational roles with Ford Motor Company and PepsiCo. Dean graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in business from Kent State University in Ohio and earned a master’s degree in business administration from Stanford University. In 2001, the National Eagle Leadership Institute (NELI) presented Dean with the CareerFocus Eagle Award, its highest and most distinguished honor.
