David Young brings to Seniorlink more than 20 years of experience in healthcare service delivery, healthcare management and information technology. As Vice President of Operations, Dr. Young has guided Seniorlink’s staff and infrastructure through multiple product and program launches. He also acts as Seniorlink’s clinical technologist, managing the company’s corporate IT solution. Among his significant contributions has been the development of SeniorTouch, a web-based medical record and case management system that supports hundreds of users across Seniorlink's service lines. Prior to joining Seniorlink in 2001, Dr. Young held management positions at Advantage Health Corporation and Healthsouth, and was the Managing Partner at Sysformatics. Dr. Young has designed software and clinical work flow solutions for case and risk management of rehabilitation services, and implemented numerous client satisfaction systems. As a clinical psychologist, Dr. Young has studied and treated persons with chronic physical conditions, including intractable pain problems leading to disability in the elderly and work-injured populations. Dr. Young earned his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Kent State University. He also holds a Master’s degree from Kent Sate and a B.A. from the University of Rochester. |
