David White was appointed Senior Vice President Global Supply Chain in March 2004. He oversees the management of Campbell's Global Supply Chain, including engineering, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and customer service. He reports to Douglas R. Conant, President and Chief Executive Officer.
David joined Campbell from Procter & Gamble, where he was Vice President, Product Supply for the company's Global Family Care business. He was responsible for all manufacturing, engineering, purchasing, and customer logistics for the $4 billion global division with leading brands such as Charmin and Bounty paper products.
In his 25 years at Procter & Gamble, David held a variety of positions, with responsibility for Supply Chain activities for major brands including Ivory soap, Pampers diapers, and Tide and Cheer detergents. He worked in six U.S. locations and spent seven years in Europe.
A native of Massachusetts, David earned both his bachelor of science degree in industrial engineering and his master of science degree in manufacturing engineering from the University of Massachusetts. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Andersen Corporation (Andersen Windows and Doors) and is on the Board of Trustees of The Franklin Institute. |
