David is a co-founder of Bloodhound Technologies. In his role as CTO, David leads all development and software architectural initiatives for the company. He directs Bloodhound’s 24x7 ASP production environment, which is vital to the company’s ASP delivery model. He led the design and development of the company’s flagship product, ClaimsGuard, and its evolvement into real-time processing capabilities. Prior to his career at Bloodhound, David was a first-stage employee of a successful telecommunications company in Perth, Western Australia. He was responsible for the start-up development of the company’s high-speed digital trunk switching system, which later became the company’s central product offering. This system was responsible for securing the company’s contract with Lucent Technologies, and its ultimate acquisition by a publicly traded Australian company.His interest in Artificial Intelligence and Intelligent Systems began with experimentation in image processing and industrial control systems. This lead to the development of an intelligent control system utilized as a feedback component for online ore sizing in a number of major Australian mining operations. This system continues to yield a number of commercial strength products that remain in use within the mining industry today.David received his Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics Engineering with first class honors, majoring in Mathematics and Physics, from the University of Western Australia. He is an active participant in the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers, the Engineering Society of the University of Western Australia and a regular attendant of the Council for Entrepreneurial Development programs. |
