David Tucker is Vice President for the Linksys Connected Office Business Organization (COBO). In this role, David oversees all product development, product marketing and go to market strategies for Linksys small business solutions including Linksys Business Series and Linksys One product lines. Before COBO, David led Product Management, Marketing and Market Development efforts for Cisco, whose focus was delivering IP Telephony solutions to the worldwide enterprise customer.Previous to Cisco, David co-founded and led Selsius Systems as president and chief executive officer until November 1998, when Cisco Systems acquired the company. Based on his technology vision, he is a pioneer in the consolidation of voice and data networks, bringing extensive sales and marketing, telecommunications and technical experience to Cisco and Linksys organizations. Prior to his tenure at Selsius, David served as general manager of Incite, where he led a team to create a voice and video PBX platform. He has served as director of marketing for Intecom and director of strategic marketing at Shared Resource Exchange Inc. David also has worked for ROLM, AT&T and Southwestern Bell. David holds a BBA and MBA degrees in marketing from Texas A&M University. He resides in Dallas with his wife, Colleen. David enjoys running, skiing, scuba diving, traveling and attending Texas A&M games. |
