David Tolliver leads a specialized group at Daniels & Associates that serves the television, radio and out-of-home advertising industries. Based in the New York office, Mr. Tolliver facilitates mergers & acquisitions, corporate financings and financial advisory assignments for broadcasters, outdoor advertising and allied industries. With more than 15 years of business experience, he brings to Daniels strong expertise in corporate finance, venture capital and commercial and subordinate lending. While at Daniels, Mr. Tolliver has led numerous deals most notably of the $1.2 billion acquisition of Eller Media by Clear Channel Communications. His background includes founding a company that served as a vehicle for acquisitions in cable, television, and radio, which raised more than $200 million in capital commitments. In addition, Mr. Tolliver served as a vice president in First Chicago's Corporate Finance Department specializing in media-and-broadcasting lending and capital markets. He was also co-founder of a firm that acquired a top-50 NBC affiliate television station. As a former broadcaster and banker, Mr. Tolliver brings a unique skill set to Daniels. His operating experience as well as the experience of buying, selling and financing his media properties provides him with an excellent knowledge base to understand his clients needs and issues. He earned a bachelor's degree in economics from Hobart College and an MBA in finance and accounting from the University of Michigan. |
