David Teplow is the founder and CEO of Integra Technology Consulting. Prior to Integra, David founded Database Technologies (DBT) as the first consulting company on the East Coast to specialize in Oracle and other relational databases. DBT was consistently recognized for its exceptional employees, its superior services and its steady growth. In David's last two years as CEO, DBT won the Deloitte & Touche Fast 50 and Fast 500 awards for being the 10th fastest growing technology company in New England, and the 51st fastest growing technology company in the United States. DBT was acquired in 1998 by PKS Systems Integration, the professional services arm of Level 3 Communications.
David was an early adopter of RDBMS technology. In 1981, he became one of Oracle Corporation's first customers, and one of the few to use Version 2 of Oracle (there was no Version 1). He is an active participant and frequent presenter in the Oracle user community. David served as President of the Northeast Oracle Users Group from 1992 to 1999 and currently sits on the Board of the Independent Oracle Users Group (IOUG).
David's education includes a B.A. in Mathematics from Dartmouth College in 1980, the Entrepreneurial Management Program at Babson College, and the "Birthing of Giants", a three-year entrepreneurial executive leadership program sponsored by the MIT Enterprise Forum, the Young Entrepreneurs Organization (YEO) and Inc. Magazine, which he completed in 2000. |
