David Strong is the Director of Information Technology for Dimensions International, Inc ("DI").
As the Director of Information Technology, Mr. Strong ensures that DI has the information infrastructure and corporate procedures to efficiently conduct business, by directing technology policy and business process improvements. He is responsible for all aspects of information systems, policies and procedures, support services, maintenance contracts, indirect purchases, Internet and intranet sites, and telecommunications for the corporation. Mr. Strong directs information technology initiatives, implements business process automation and provides comprehensive technology consultation.
Mr. Strong has been with the DI team since 1996, and has experience in information systems management, project management, systems analysis, database design, and software programming. Prior to assuming the role of Director of Information Technology, he managed and supported technical efforts for several DI customers including U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), and U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). His efforts included business process reengineering, development and implementation of event management systems, automation of contract deliverables, construction of Web-database search engines, and creation of online information survey and data collection applications. Mr. Strong engineered and produced the online system that manages the successful Business Matchmaking program for the SBA.
Prior to joining DI, Mr. Strong worked with helicopter electrical systems design at United Technologies Sikorsky Aircraft and performed work as an independent technology consultant. Mr. Strong received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. |
