Dave is charged with driving continued innovation for the Kiptronic platform. He brings over 20 years of experience in organizations building Web and enterprise infrastructure, rich internet applications and scientific computing systems to Kiptronic. Dave was most recently CTO and VP of Engineering for SNOCAP, a music rights management company started by Napster founder Shawn Fanning. Prior to joining Kiptronic, Dave was responsible for building SNOCAP’s Digital Music Registry for sound recording rights management and commerce, which included the use of acoustic fingerprinting technology. Prior to SNOCAP, he was Vice President of Engineering at Kenamea, Inc., contributing to the development of Kenamea's pioneering internet messaging infrastructure. He has also held senior management positions at Fair Isaac, Varian, Inc., and scientific engineering positions at Bio Rad Laboratories and American Edwards Laboratories. He holds a B.S. degree in Information and Computer Science from the University of California, Irvine. |
