David is responsible for our legal and corporate development efforts. Before joining DivX in 2004 David was a Principal at Maveron a venture capital firm focused on consumer-oriented start-ups. Prior to that he was Associate General Counsel and Director of Business Development at drugstore.com and in private law practice in Los Angeles. David was a Luce Scholar in China where he taught intellectual property law at China University of Politics and Law and consulted for CITIC the Chinese government's investment bank.
David has a bachelor's degree from Cornell University and a JD from Yale Law School. He clerked for Judge Alfred T. Goodwin of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. |
