Mr. Phillips serves as Executive Vice-President of Los Alamos Operations and Vice-President of Engineering. He joined HYTEC, now IMTEC Corporation, in 2001, as the Product Manager of the company’s proprietary FlashCT® product line. In that role, he managed all aspects of the startup technology and was the lead hardware engineer. Under his guidance, the FlashCT® engineering team grew from three to twenty engineers and technicians. In addition, Mr. Phillips managed the technology development of both the SuperScan orthodontic impression scanning systems and the ILUMA dental 3D CBCT systems. As General Manager of HYTEC, Mr. Phillips was responsible for the management of all design, engineering, manufacturing and support operations for the company. Prior to joining HYTEC, Mr. Phillips worked at Eaglehead Manufacturing, ARACOR, Lockheed-Martin Aeronautical Systems and Advanced X-Ray, Inc. Over a decade, he gained experience in development of high speed, automated industrial machinery and nondestructive evaluation equipment for the automotive, aerospace and material characterization industries. He holds an AS in Computer Science and a BS in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University. He also holds a MS in Materials Science and Engineering from Ohio State University. He is a nationally recognized Level III radiographer through the ASNT Central Certification Program. |
