David Packer, senior vice president of worldwide field operations, is responsible for the overall direction and management of Borland’s sales efforts, as well as the company’s consulting services, partner alliances and customer support organizations.
Mr. Packer is a seasoned enterprise sales executive with nearly 20 years of software industry experience, having held senior executive positions at companies such as PeopleSoft and JD Edwards & Company.
Mr. Packer joined Borland in 2005 as vice president of the Americas. Prior to Borland, Mr. Packer was a vice president and managing director at PeopleSoft, where he was responsible for all sales and marketing for the U.S. western region. Prior to PeopleSoft’s acquisition, Mr. Packer spent ten years at JD Edwards & Company, in various roles, including his most recent position as vice president and general manager.
Mr. Packer earned a Masters of Science from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Arts from Claremont McKenna College. |
